About

Victoria Day is an interdisciplinary Toronto artist whose work examines themes of connection, belonging, and the duality of internal experience vs external perception.

In a time where anti-Asian sentiment is on the rise, Day’s recent work is a celebration of her Korean heritage through the study and presentation of traditional Korean arts. Her aim is to diversify the cultural aesthetics within public art and print communities. Simultaneously, this work allows Day to process her experiences as a mixed-race member of the Korean-Canadian diaspora.

Day works across drawing, printmaking, public art and ceramics. In addition, she is an experienced mural assistant and teaches screen printing.
